Ensuring the health and safety of employees is a key part of the National Health Strategy (NHS2), launched by the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) in March of this year and the launch of the Staff Clinic is critical to achieving the objectives set out in the NHS2. Services offered at the staff clinic include the assessment, treatment, referral for both acute and emergency cases, in addition to opportunistic services such as anxiety, depression and so on. At the newly opened Staff Clinic, employees are offered services such as staff screening, sick leave assessment as well as wellness and relaxation treatments.

In line with this, the HR department at PHCC will work closely with the Staff Clinic to develop and implement an effective absence management program,” said Dr Abdul Malik.
