Total E&P Qatar recently launched its ‘Qatar National Week’ celebrations, which are being organised by the Qatari employees of the French company, all with the aim of promoting the national spirit among everyone within the company.
Almost all of the employees as well as the contractors present in the company will be participating in the celebrations. The events will include a drawing competition for all the children of the employees of Total, with the theme ‘Qatar the future’. The best drawing will be presented an award.
The Qatari employees will also prepare ‘Reeyouq’ inviting everyone for a breakfast of homemade Qatari dishes, and Arabic coffee, while distributing small Qatari gifts.
In addition, the ‘My Qatari Space’ competition will be featured which calls upon employees to use their creativity and style to create and decorate their own space with the Qatari spirit. The winner of this competition will receive a prize and a trophy, and the same trophy will be used for next years competition.
On that day, the company canteen will be turned into a National Day Majlis, where everyone will be invited to indulge in Qatari dishes. For this event, the dress code is anything that represents Qatar.
Also, a presentation called ‘Swalif Qataria’ will be made, which will contain all information about the history of Qatar, traditions, culture and habits.
