Alunoor bags key ISO certification

Doha: Qatar-based aluminium extrusion company, Abdulnoor Aluminium has won ISO certification (9001/14001/18001) for environmental, quality, health and occupational safety management standards.

These certificates are the industry benchmarks in quality, management, health, safety and environment. They ensure that the company is adhering to regulations and workforce safety.

E Qualities did the evaluation of Alunoor whose management is committed to industry best practices in quality, health, occupational safety and environment.

Consulting and management company, MS Certification which guided Alunoor to win the coveted certification, expressed its happiness for the success and appreciated the private company’s management and workforce’s efforts in raising standards.

Alunoor  owner and General Manager Jassim Abdulnoor, expressing his joy, said the honour was due to the combined efforts of the management and the staff. The ISO certification will renew the staff’s commitment and spur them to work much harder and offer more efficient and effective services to our clients, he said.

Speaking about offering clients best services, Alunoor Commercial Manager Fatima Jassim Abdulnoor said: “The ISO certification will propel marketing the company’s products in the local as well as global markets.”

Reiterating this Alunoor Financial Manager Alshimaa Jassim Abdulnoor added that “winning the certification is a major landmark for the company and will help in future expansion plans as well as increasing production to meet local and foreign market demands”.

Talking about the company’s production, GM Abdulnoor said, “The company’s current production output is 400 tonnes per month is likely to increase to 600 tonnes per month taking the annual production to 7,200 tonnes per annum.”

He anticipated the company’s production capacity to increase to around 100,000 tonnes per annum over 15 years.

Established in 2011, Alunoor started production last January. The company specialises in producing aluminium extrusion, and provides local and global markets with aluminium breakers that are used in and public and private facilities.
