Al Rayyan Municipality shutdown two shops and caught a total of 24 violations at commercial outlets last month. The action was taken as per the Law No. 8 of 1,990. The municipal inspectors made 621 inspection visits to the outlets operating under Al Rayyan Municipality, said a release. In 12 cases, the inspectors made reconciliation. A total of 33 complete slaughtered sheep were destroyed after they were found unfit for human consumption. The municipality sent 36 food samples to the central laboratory for conducting tests.
