Ritz-Carlton appoints new chef de cuisine

Doha: The Ritz-Carlton, Doha has appointed Moreno Gianfranco ‎Miotto as (pictured) the Chef de Cuisine for Italian restaurant, Porcini. 
Miotto brings a wealth of experience in preparing authentic Italian cuisine and ‎will be responsible for the daily culinary operations of the restaurant, including developing new menus, creating high-profile culinary events and re-imagining the Italian story at Porcini.
Born in Veneto in Italy, Miotto relocated to Vancouver, Canada, with his family at the age of six, where he began to discover the culinary world of restaurants at a young age. In 1986, he cross-trained at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Beverly ‎Hills, California, where his passion for cooking became his profession. 
“We are thrilled and honoured to welcome Miotto‎ as our new Chef de Cusine at Porcini. We are confident that his skills and knowledge will further enhance the Mediterranean culinary journey at Porcini, offering guests an unforgettable dining experience that cannot be found anywhere else in Doha,” said Executive Chef Gael Cruchet.
