Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker held talks with the Mayor of Chengdu Municipality, Ge Honglin, as the airline launched its newest direct route to Chengdu on September 3. Al Baker said the airline was pleased to add Chengdu as its sixth destination in China helping to bring the number of QA flights to China up to 41 a week.
