Doha, Qatar: The Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) has issued a public warning about fraudulent online platforms that are circulating fake concert news involving Lebanese superstar Wael Kfoury and Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab.
"It has come to our notice that certain online platforms are advertising and selling tickets for events that are not taking place at Qatar National Convention Centre," QNCC wrote on its Instagram account.
Highlighting the effects of this kind of fraudulent news, QNCC added: “Fake events not only create confusion but can also lead to disappointment.”
The organization advises the public to trust only its official website and social media channels for authentic event information and ticket purchases.
