DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) will organize on Monday a lecture entitled "Diplomacy and the Economy" as part of a series of awareness lectures on public diplomacy.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Wael Shadeed, a strategic researcher, in cooperation with the Katara Public Diplomacy Center, will be held at 9:00 am in Katara's Building 15 Multi-purpose Hall.
The lecture covers several topics, including public diplomacy and its definition, its concepts and relationship to soft power, public diplomacy tools, civil society and the role of governments, economic diplomacy and its functions, Qatari economic diplomacy and its impact, economic diplomacy, and sports.
