DOHA: Al Khor Sports Club is organising a training course in horsemanship for young people, which will take place at Al Uqdah Equestrian Complex as part of the club’s summer activities.
The club said in a statement that participants in the training course, which begins today, will receive training in the basics of riding, control, jumping and marathon techniques, as well as riding in groups. Participants will be awarded certificates from the Al Khor-based Al Uqdah Equestrian Complex.
Al Uqdah Equestrian Complex is an extension of the equestrian facilities in at Qatar Equestrian Racing Club, Sealine Endurance Village and Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre. It is an integrated equestrian complex, with all necessary installations, equipment, stabling, a horse training track, an indoor hall for showjumping, outdoor arenas, an administrative building, a turf track and accommodation for staff.
