Doha: Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, has decided to allocate two days of the week – Sunday and Tuesday of every week, to provide advisory sessions to entrepreneurs wishing to start a small or medium business or for business owners looking for advice and consultation to boost and develop their existing projects.
The planned sessions, which can be booked by accessing the center’s website www.bedaya.qa, will help bridge the gap between the qualified Qatari youth and the business world, and will assist them in taking the right steps and select the best suited options for their projects and businesses by evaluating and assessing their operations and responding to all their questions and queries.
The desired sessions can be conducted through diverse channels; over the phone, or through interactive video communications platforms, or face to face meeting at the Bedaya’s offices. The sessions will be open for various business sectors and to all entrepreneurs wishing to transform their ideas into tangible reality.
Commenting on this initiative, Abdulla Faleh Al Saeed - Board Member and General Manager of Bedaya Center, said, “Since January 2021, we have been able to hold more than 115 consulting sessions for entrepreneurs and SME owners. Looking at the buoyant demand, we decided to allocate two days per week to provide consulting sessions for entrepreneurs who wish to transform their ideas into tangible projects as well as to advise and guide them on the existing projects by evaluating their ideas, assessing the project type and nature, and their marketing plans, in addition to many other aspects that will be addressed during the sessions, which will facilitate their launch into the business world. We are looking forward to supporting the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem of Qatar through this endeavor.”
Bedaya Center constantly seeks to support entrepreneurs. Since its inception, the Center has been providing consultancy to all its members, regardless of the nature and diversity of their projects, whether it is in the field of food & beverages, fashion, perfumes, accessories, technology, sports, or culture in addition to other sectors.
