DOHA: The Medical Commission will work from 9am to 5.30pm during Ramadan, the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) said yesterday.
SCH has also announced new timings of birth registration offices at hospitals during the holy month.
Offices at Women’s Hospital, Al Khor Hospital, Al Wakra Hospital and Cuban Hospital in Dukhan and Al Emadi Hospital will function from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Offices at Doha Clinic and Al Ahli Hospital will work from 9.30am to 1.30pm and 9pm to midnight.
The Ministry of Interior said the General Directorate of Nationality, Borders and Expatriate Affairs and its departments will work from 8am to 1pm and 9pm and 1am. The General Directorate of Traffic and its departments will work from 9am to 2pm and 9pm and 1am. The Criminal Evidences and Information Department’s sections will have separate schedules. The administrative section and fingerprint section at the headquarters will work from 8am to 6pm. The fingerprint section in Industrial Area (for companies) will be open from 8am to 6pm. The fingerprint section in other Unified Services Centres will function from 8am to 1pm and 9pm and 1am.
