Full list of Toyota and Lexus service charges

DOHA: Abdullah Abdulghani and Bros Company (AAB), dealer of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Qatar has reduced maintenance charges for all their vehicles under warranty by six to 39 percent, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said yesterday. The reduced charges will come into force from today.

AAB is the second car dealer to reduce the service charges, in response to a recent move by the ministry allowing vehicle owners to get their cars repaired or serviced in a workshop of their choice, during the warranty period. Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana company recently reduced maintenance charges on all their Nissan and Infiniti vehicles by 23 to 48 percent. The nine-clause initiative of the ministry was aimed to develop the automobile sector, promote competition in terms of maintenance and repair services and encourage workshops to improve the efficiency and quality of their services and reduce maintenance charges, said the ministry. Earlier, vehicle owners were required to have maintenance and repair works at the car agency’s workshop. 

Maintenance at non-affiliated third-party workshops could result in revoking of warranty.

AAB’s list of discounts applies to all Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The discounts range between 6 percent and 39 percent on the total costs incurred by consumers for maintenance services during the period (from zero km to 100,000 km), said a statement.

The company is also offering free maintenance service of 1,000 Km for all models and 5,000km for all Toyota and Lexus models of 2016 onwards.
