Doha: The Scouts and Guides from Birla Public School (BPS) were part of a beach clean-up initiative of the Qatar Scouts and Guides on March 9, 2022 at Al Wakrah.

The Birlites enthusiastically participated and contributed to the ‘keep your surroundings clean and protect the environment’ goal. Many school students from Qatar who were part of this ‘clean beach drive’ worked in unison to clean the beach at Wakrah.

The drive was a campaign to instil love and care for the environment and the ecosystem.

Saju James and Shyam Mohan led the student from BPS and motivated them to care for their surroundings. This is a step forward in educating the public and the youth on the importance of clutter and waste-free surrounding.

The scouts and guides played a remarkable part and served as role models to their fellow students. The event was a commendable programme organised by the Scouts and Guides Society of Qatar.
