Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has clarified that non-emergency cases will not be charged at Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) emergency department.
HMC has made the clarification on its official social media accounts yesterday. “After consideration, these charges will not now be introduced, although we continue to urge patients to use Emergency Department when they have an emergency,” the statement on HMC’s Facebook account.
“Any changes to health services will be posted on the MOPH website (www.moph.gov.qa) for the foreseeable future,” it added.
