Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to the State of Qatar H E Constantinos Orphanides (pictured) stated that there are a lot of positive developments in the course of the relations between the two countries, pointing out that there have been more official visits and agreements between the two sides lately.
He stressed, in statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of the Qatar’s National Day, that there is a clearly mutual will and commitment from both sides for further enhancement and deepening of the bilateral relations, adding that this is inspired by the fact that both countries are committed to the same principles of peaceful coexistence in their relations with other countries and respect of International law and cooperation with all countries on the basis of mutual interest and mutual respect.
The Ambassador appreciated the success of the Qatari leadership and its wisdom in leading the country to great progress in all fields along with the Qatari people who are supporting their leaders to make Qatar a great nation.
He added, “they are managing to do this, despite all the challenges they have faced the last two years.”
The Greek Ambassador congratulated Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Father Amir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and all Qatari people on this historic occasion. He expressed his wish that Qatar would continue to enjoy forever security, prosperity and progress.
