Qatar and the Republic of Nicaragua signed yesterday an agreement for cooperation in the fields of high education and scientific research, to enhance relations and cooperation in these fields,and to strengthen and broaden the ties of friendship. The agreement was signed by Undersecretary of the Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua H E Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres.
Under the agreement, both sided encourage the cooperation in science, research, and technical education fields, in addition to exchanging visits between the two countries, as well as to participate in academic events and workshops.
The agreement’ was signed during a meeting held yesterday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the most important topics in the high education and science research fields, as well as means to support and enhance them, including experience exchange and the best established practices in both countries in this regard.
