More than 100 international universities take part as UniExpo Qatar kicks off

Doha: The ninth edition of UniExpo Qatar kicked off today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, enabling students and parents to attend more than 20 postgraduate education seminars and meet a number of professionals to receive answers related to studying abroad.

This year's edition, from October 16 to 17, is being held in partnership with the Qatar Chamber (QC), "Akhlaquna", and The Indian Education Fair. More than 100 leading universities and education providers from 15 countries including some of Qatar's top universities such will take part in the event.

The UniExpo aimed at students aged 16+, their parents, school counselors, principals, and career advisors, as well as professionals looking to further advance their academic credentials.

The expo timings are:
Wednesday, 16 October 2019: 8am – 1pm and 5pm - 9pm
Thursday, 17 October 2019: 8am – 1pm and 5pm - 9pm

Community College Qatar, Doha Institute of Graduate Studies, College of North Atlantic, Qatar Foundation, Education City Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University Qatar and Qatar University will also take part.

Many countries will also be represented including the USA, France, UK, Malaysia, Italy, India, Lebanon, Netherlands, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, and North Cyprus. International universities joining the University Expo Qatar include the University of Aberdeen, Wright State University, Virginia Tech, Swansea University, Middlesex University, Durham University, and the Lebanese American University, among others.

This year's edition will see inspirational seminars addressed by local and international speakers, on academic paths and career selection for students and provide them with pertinent information that could help them make wise decisions for their future. It will also serve as a platform for professionals who would like to pursue their executive education by joining prestigious postgraduate courses.

Many seminars will be held dicussing studying in Qatar, UK, USA, France, Spain and more.

University Expo Qatar offers over 20 seminars to get personalised advice and detailed explanations concerning any questions or issues they may have about higher education as well as studying overseas. Sessions are broken up into two seminars, morning and evening.
