Set up fund for marriage of Qatari youth

Charities play an important role in Qatari society both at local and international levels. This was particularly clear from the services these charities offered to all social segments without discrimination in the countries they work.
We have always been complaining about the challenges that face youth, especially when it comes to marriage. Charities could be the institutions that play a leading role in serving this category of Qataris by backing them financially or facilitating the mission of preparing the marriage home for them.
The funds Qatari charities spend outside of our country are helping a lot of people in different societies. No doubt that these charities and their humanitarian efforts are serving many countries and this is the kind of work our great religion encourages and asked to be committed for.
I think our charities need to play a similar role to solve the problem of Qatari men and women staying single by helping them to get married before it is too late.
Marriages in Qatar have become very expensive. Qatari youth who want to get married have to borrow money from banks to cover the cost of their wedding.
My suggestion to these charities is to set up a special fund that will be backed by Qatari donors and philanthropists with the aim of helping the youth to get married and reduce their dependence on bank loans. It should contribute to reducing the debts youths are burdened with at the beginning of their married life, given that banks lure them to loans in different ways.
The fund should also be entrusted to honest people within these charities. It should be publicised on all national and religious occasions so that charitable people will be encouraged to donate money for it to help Qatari youth.
Finally, such a move will surely get the blessings of Almighty God because it will protect Qatari youths and encourage them to get married early, keeping them away from bank debts.
