DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Trade Tuesday announced the recall of Land Rover LR4 models 2015 to 2016 for Anti-lock braking system (ABS) checks.
In a statement this morning, the Ministry said the inspection of ABS of these models is for the dealer, Al Fardan Premier Motors, to check for defects and fix the problem to ensure safety of consumers.
The Ministry will follow-up with the car dealer on repairing or replacing the defective automobile part(s) of the said models as per the stipulated procedures.
The Ministry urged consumers to report to the Consumer Protection Department any malfunctioning/defective part(s) in their vehicles through smartphone or touchscreen machines installed in shopping complexes and malls. QNA
