Qatar buildings lit in Indian Tricolour for Indian Independence Day 

Doha: On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India's Independence Day, buildings in Qatar were lit in Tricolour yesterday, August 15, 2022. 

Iconic Al Jaber twin towers in Lusail and Hotel Sheraton lit in Tricolour, tweeted the Indian Embassy in Qatar along with pictures of the buildings. It also shared that a Tricolour balloon was hoisted in the Embassy building. 

"On the occasion of 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence, iconic Al Jaber twin towers in Lusail and  Hotel Sheraton lit in Tricolour. Indian Tricolour balloon was also hoisted on the occasion," stated the embassy adding that it was a proud moment for all Indians in Qatar.
