Doha: Minister of Commerce & Industry and Acting Minister of Finance H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari yesterday met the Malaysian Minister of Rural Development H E Datuk Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad, and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, the officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of cooperation, especially in the trade, investment, and industrial fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.
Discussions also touched on the trade policies between the two countries.
The meeting pointed out the efforts exerted by both sides to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, Minister Al Kuwari spoke of the economic policies that Qatar had adopted, including the package of incentives and legislation that contribute to increasing foreign investment and creating more investment opportunities for companies looking to invest in Qatar.
