Birla Public School
The 68th Indian Independence Day was celebrated at Birla Public School by the students, staff, parents and Management Committee.
Present on the occasion were C V Rappai, Chairman, Lukose K Chacko, Vice Chairman, Gope Shahani, Management Committee Member, K M Varghese and Bukhari, Life Members and Joseph K, Manager- Administration.
The Indian flag was unfurled by Rappai. Speaking on the occasion Rappai emphasised to recapitulate sacrifices made by our forefathers in attaining the Independence and stressed the need to safeguard it. He also mentioned that the nation is in the hands of the younger children who are the future leaders of the biggest democracy in the world, India.
Followed by the unfurling of the flag cultural programmes were staged in the Basant Kumar Birla Auditorium by the team members of the ongoing Summer Camp.
