Doha: For the second consecutive year, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has achieved a remarkable milestone by earning the Golden Award in the 2024 National Cybersecurity Drill, in which over 100 government entities participated.

The drill, held under the theme “Zero Hour,” was organised and supervised by the National Cyber Security Agency.

The drill aimed to test the readiness of vital entities across the country and assess their ability to respond to cyber threats.

It measured preparedness based on the three pillars of cybersecurity preparedness: people, process, and technology. PHCC demonstrated excellence across all three areas, reflecting the strength of its digital infrastructure and the high caliber of its preventive strategies.

Managing Director of PHCC, Dr. Mariam Ali Abdul Malik affirmed that this renewed achievement embodies the Corporation’s unwavering commitment to strengthening its cybersecurity framework, protecting its digital infrastructure, and ensuring business continuity amid escalating cyber challenges.

She also praised the efforts of PHCC’s internal teams and their pivotal role in raising staff awareness, developing systems, and implementing best practices in information security.

She emphasized that cybersecurity remains a top priority for PHCC, given its critical role in safeguarding health data and ensuring the safety of services provided.

The Corporation extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Health Information and Communication Technology Directorate staff for their dedication, commitment, and team spirit, which continue to drive such consistent accomplishments.
