Doha: The Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published Al Diplomacy Magazine, issue No (45) in Arabic and English languages.
The new issue of Al Diplomacy magazine focuses on the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in Afghanistan, and includes a follow-up to the two phone calls between Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and H E President Donald Trump of the United States, and H E President Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of the Republic Islamic Afghanistan.
The magazine covers the ceremony of signing the historic agreement in Doha between the United States and the Taliban, and following up the speech of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to Al-Jazeera Channel TV, about the challenges that faced the Qatari mediation in order to achieve peace.
The magazine conducted an interview with H E Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, who emphasized that the State of Qatar has become an active and reliable partner of the United Nations in facing challenges.
The magazine also interviewed H E Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Austria and the permanent representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna, who touched on the active role of the State of Qatar in international organizations.
The magazine devotes a file on international organizations, addressing goals and programs of a number of the most prominent international organizations and their relations with the State of Qatar. The magazine contains a number of important topics and fixed chapters.
