Oxford Business Group launches Qatar 2014 report

DOHA: Global publishing, research and consultancy firm Oxford Business Group has launched its 10th anniversary report on Qatar. 
The Report: Qatar 2014 charts the major investment under way in marine, aviation, road and rail projects and others in line with Qatar’s long-term development plan — Qatar National Vision 2030 — which will help improve connectivity ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. 
The report also looks in detail at new tourism developments in the pipeline to reshape Doha’s landscape.
It contains contributions from leading political, economic and business representatives, including the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. 
Other personalities include the Minister of Economy and Trade H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani, the Minister of Finance H E Ali Sherif Al Emadi and the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa Al Thani. 
The investment guide also explores key developments taking place in the oil and gas sector, which include collaborative ventures with international partners aimed at expanding domestic output. 
It charts the country’s drive to further develop petrochemicals and downstream production, while also looking at its efforts to expand the research and development segment.
