Kuwait: Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) Chairperson H E Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani participated in the inauguration ceremony of ‘Kuwait, the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025’.
His participation in the ceremony came at the invitation of Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs in Kuwait H E Abdulrahman Badah Al Mutairi.
Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani expressed his pride in participating in the event, noting that such meetings represent an opportunity to enhance bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait, especially in the media field, through exchanging ideas and views with Al Mutairi.
The QMC Chairperson added that Kuwait’s organisation of this occasion, through various cultural and media events and programmes throughout the year, reflects its pioneering position and long-standing experience in the fields of Arab culture and media, and contributes to strengthening bridges of cooperation and partnerships between various cultural and media sectors at the regional and Arab levels.
