Doha: The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar at the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) unveils a number of murals as project implementation on the occasion of the launch of 'HH The Amir Sword Festival', in cooperation with Qatar Racing & Equestrian club and artists Hassan Bahou and Thamer Al Dosari.
Eng. Mohammed Arqoub Al Khaldi, Chairman of the Supervising Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places at Ashghal, said:
"We are proud that the Committee will play an active role in this important sporting event bearing the name of His Highness the Amir of Qatar. Murals affirm Qatar's celebration and pride of the equestrian sector as one of the pillars of Arab sports."
Alya Al Henzab, Project Design Engineer, said:
"The atmosphere of the equestrian club and the beauty of Arabian horses are being celebrated and highlighted on the murals through their colours and the local Qatari horses."
