The International Light and Digital Media Festival ‘LightMe Lusail’ under theme ‘#Respect’ began yesterday at Lusail Marina Eastern and South Promenade which mesmerised a large number of residents with its magical effects.
The four-day celebration (till January 18) of fantastic and interactive light works illuminated the magnificent Lusail Marina Eastern and South Promenade, turning the whole area into a spectacular fusion of culture, vibrant colours, and artistic sculptures. The festival featured 2 KM Festival, 12 Art Light Installations, two Boat Routes, LML Cars and Food & Beverages.
To enjoy the fascinating effects of magical lights, hundreds of families reached there. This year, the four-day event is bigger and better Light Art Festival with extraordinary light art installations.
The event started at 5:30pm and concluded at 11:30pm at Eastern and South Promenade of Lusail Marina. Light art is an applied art form in which light is the main medium of expression.
LightMe Lusail is solidifying Qatar’s position as a Tourism & Cultural Hub, delivering creative and innovative entertainment solution, promoting diversity and unity among the local communities, and delivering a clear message of respect to the international community through the universal language of art.
The light festival promises to offer an amazing family photo opportunities and vividly lit scenery, making for a magical experience.
