Doha, Qatar: Congratulating Qatar on National Day, Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar H E Muhammad Aamer has said that Qatar’s National Day is a proud celebration of unity, resilience and national progress.
“On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, I extend, on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, our warmest felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar and to the brotherly people of Qatar,” the Ambassador said in a message.
He said that Qatar’s National Day is a proud celebration of unity, resilience and national progress. “It is also an opportunity to reflect on Qatar’s remarkable achievements under the visionary leadership of His Highness the Amir, particularly in human development, economic diversification, innovation and humanitarian diplomacy, guided by the aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030.”
The Ambassador said that Qatar’s principled and constructive engagement in regional and international affairs, including its role as a bridge-builder and its humanitarian outreach, has earned global appreciation. “Pakistan values Qatar’s consistent contributions to peace, stabilityand human dignity.”
He said that Pakistan and Qatar enjoy a long-standing, deeply-rooted relationship anchored in shared values, mutual respectand brotherhood. “Our ties continue to strengthen across diverse areas, supported by close leadership-level understanding and ever-growing people-to-people linkages. This positive momentum has been further reinforced by recent high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Qatar, as well as the successful convening of the Pakistan–Qatar Joint Ministerial Commission, which has provided a structured framework to advance cooperation across priority sectors.”
He added, “A key pillar of our partnership is the Pakistani community in Qatar, whose dedication and professionalism have contributed meaningfully to Qatar’s national development across multiple sectors. We are grateful to the Qatari leadership and institutions for the respect, opportunities and support extended to Pakistani nationals residing here.” Looking ahead, he said, Pakistan remains committed to further strengthening cooperation with Qatar in priority areas including investment, trade, energy, agriculture, labour mobility and technological collaboration, where the two countries possess strong complementarities and shared ambitions.
“We are confident that, with sustained engagement and mutual goodwill, Pakistan–Qatar relations will continue to scale new heights. On this joyous occasion, I convey my best wishes for the continued progress, prosperityand well-being of the brotherly people of Qatar.”
