Qatar signed yesterday in Tashkent in Uzbekistan a memorandum of understanding (MoU) concerning its accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a Dialogue Partner.
The MoU was signed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi on Qatar’s side and the SCO Secretary-General Ambassador H E Zhang Ming on the organisation’s side. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the SCO summit held in Tashkent.
