Athens: Minister of Justice H E Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, who is on a visit to Athens, discussed yesterday with Minister of Justice of the Hellenic Republic H E Kostas Tsiaras means of strengthening legal cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic.
During an official working session, the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in the legal and legislative fields.
This includes working to activate the joint cooperation agreement in the legal field between the ministries of justice in the two countries, which was signed in Doha in October 2021.
The two sides discussed the importance of exchanging joint experiences, training and legal qualification, benefiting from the experience of the two countries in the fields of justice services and employing digital transformation projects to develop legal professions.
They also touched on strengthening legal and judicial cooperation at various levels to combat international crimes, including transnational organised crimes, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.
The meetings were attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Greece H E Walid bin Mohammed Al Emadi.
