Doha: Qatar Calendar has announced the launch of ‘Summer Splash’, a month-long family entertainment experience taking place at Meryal Waterpark Beach from June 1 to 30, 2026. Featuring Nickelodeon’s globally recognised characters from PAW Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants, the event will bring together immersive entertainment, interactive activities, and live performances in one exciting destination for families and visitors of all ages.
Presented by Qatar Calendar, organised by Events & Entertainment Enterprises (E3) in partnership with Paramount and Spin Master, and produced by EventBox, the event forms part of Visit Qatar’s ‘Hala Summer’ campaign. The initiative reflects Visit Qatar’s continued commitment to delivering engaging, family-focused experiences that enrich the country’s year-round events calendar and further strengthen Qatar’s position as a leading regional destination for entertainment and leisure.

Transforming Meryal Waterpark Beach into a vibrant world inspired by Adventure Bay, the event will feature a wide range of themed activations and immersive experiences. Families can enjoy interactive activities, live stage performances, and memorable photo opportunities inspired by both PAW Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants, within dedicated air-conditioned themed zones designed to spark creativity, imagination, and unforgettable shared family moments.
The PAW Patrol-themed area will invite guests to meet beloved characters including Chase, Marshall, Rubble, and Skye through daily meet-and-greet sessions.
Meanwhile, the SpongeBob SquarePants experience will feature an interactive live stage show starring SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and other familiar characters.
The event is free to attend and will take place daily from 6pm to 11pm throughout June at Meryal Beach. The activation operates independently from Meryal Waterpark operations and remains unaffected by any waterpark closures. Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North Hotel guests and Meryal Waterpark ticket holders will enjoy exclusive priority access.
