Doha: As many as 450 students of Birla Public School (BPS) have appeared for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) in March 2023.
Out of this 20 percent students scored above 90 percent and overall 50 percent students scored above 75 percent – distinction.
The overall topper and Humanities stream topper is Larissa Tauro with 97.80 percent. The Science stream toppers are Shirin Bhardwaj and Kavya Vijai with 96.40 percent. The Commerce stream topper is Alen Renny Varughese who scored 92.80 percent. As many as nine students in Psychology, one student in English and one student in Informatics Practices scored Centum. In all, the school got 708 A1s in various subjects.
Toppers in Humanities stream include Larissa Tauro, Kashifa Abdul Rahman and Gopika Gireesan Menon as first, second and third respectively.
Toppers in Science stream include Shirin Bhardwaj and Kavya Vijai (first), Balakumar Thulasidoss and Aman Mohammed (second) and Adithya Krishnakumar Nair, Desna, Dennies Thattil, Reshma Pammi Madhu, Sreevedha Maroju and Pavithra Shetty (third) Toppers in Commerce stream include Alen Renny Varughese, Saahil Sanoj and Nirva Rajanikant Patel who secured first, second and third respectively.
On this occasion, Birla Public School acknowledged the pivotal role played by the teachers and parents in their children’s accomplishment.
