Some 120 fashion designers will display wedding dresses and jewellery at the 10th edition of International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show Doha (IWED) 2017, which will be held from May 18 to 22 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Hadi A Ali, Qatar Expo’s Chief Executive Officer told The Peninsula: “Over 120 of the most high-profile international, regional and local wedding professionals will participate in the exhibition. Participants are mainly from Qatar, Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, India, Hong Kong, Italy and the UK. Unless our sponsors surprise us, we won’t be having a prize draw this time. We have four days fashion show, mini live bands performance will be held on the stage and there will be a workshop for make-up classes.”
“We all know that change in inevitable. There have been several reasons why Qatar Expo decided to shift the event schedule which the management has considered. Such things are our loyal exhibitors, different conflicts of schedules and several requests we received. That is why we came up to this decision to bring IWED from 18 to 22 of this month. Progress is impossible without change, I believe” he added.
