AMMAN: Jordan's Ministry of Planning and International Co-operation has signed an agreement with South Korea under which the latter will provide Jordan with a US $28 million loan to boost its water resources.
The loan to be facilitated through the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
The loan will fund the first phase of a sewage network in southern Amman, in addition to protecting groundwater from pollution through establishing a central water purification plant with a daily capacity of 52,000 cubic metres. (QNA)
