Doha: Al Khor and Al Zakhira Municipality has prepared an action plan to intensify inspection campaign on food outlets ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
Head of the Health Monitoring Section at the Municipality, Mohamad Ali Al Mohannadi, said that according to the action plan municipal inspectors will be assigned to conduct inspection in two shifts.
He said that the inspection drives aim at ensuring that food outlets and food handlers are complying with the health and hygiene rules.
Al Mohannadi said that commercial activities in the food outlets such as meat, fish, fresh and frozen vegetables, dairy products and juices, and the diversity of display platforms for various Ramadan commodities.
