The ACFT is a community tournament which brings together various Asian communities residing in Qatar, and encourages them to play more football in a fun competitive environment.
The ACFT is organised by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and initially featured the participation of six teams during its’ first edition. Following the success of the first edition, the tournament drew lots of interest from the various Asian communities in Qatar who were eager to take part in the tournament, and thus resulted in a significant increase in the number of participating teams year after year.
This year, twelve Asian community teams are participating for the grand prize. The third place decider match will take place on March 23 in Al Markhiya Sports Club and will kick off at 7pm. The final will be played on March 30 at 7pm.
The ACFT falls under QFA’s Sub-Leagues Committee which oversees the organising of QFA’s tournaments that target the different segments of the community.
