DOHA: Ooredoo has announced that its world class IP voice platform now has a new business grade voice service — SIP-Trunking.
SIP-T is a direct connection from a business’s private voice infrastructure to the Ooredoo Next Generation network so that companies can carry multiple voice services through their existing data links and become unleashed from their old legacy systems.
Voice services are essential to ensure businesses stay connected to customers and suppliers.
SIP-T has the ability to deliver a fully redundant voice network which means businesses can continue to receive calls without any service interruptions even if a cable is cut — a first for corporate voice services in Qatar.
The launch of SIP-T is a milestone for Ooredoo’s business voice services and demonstrates the company’s commitment to provide latest and best services for businesses in Qatar as part of their ‘better for business’ promise.
With SIP–T, Ooredoo will offer customers an ultra-modern, efficient and flexible alternative to the older Primary Rate Interface connectivity (PRI).
“SIP-T has been launched to support Qatar’s business sector and their communication needs. The milestone demonstrates not only our leadership in business services, but also our dedication to launching ground-breaking technology.
“SIP-T frees companies from their legacy voice circuits and delivers real cost savings for companies,” said Waleed Al Sayed, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo Qatar.
SIP-T has been launched using latest technology so that businesses can get the most value from the company’s bigger and faster fibre network.
It is part of Ooredoo’s wider customer experience enhancement in 2015, which will see the company update customer services and operations. The Peninsula
