Five Rangers injured as militants mount assault in northern Pakistan

DIAMIR: Over two dozen militants mounted an assault on a paramilitary check-post in northern Pakistan, injuring at least five officials, sources said Sunday. 

The sources said that at least 30 militants attacked a Pakistan Rangers position in Bhashah area located between Diamir and Kohistan. 

The injured officials were moved to Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi for treatment. The sources added that all the militants managed to flee.
