Doha: Srikanth sparked QIECO to overpower Nihal XI by one wicket and win the Division C final at the popular Qatar Airways T20 Cricket Tournament at the West Bay Grounds.

Srikanth’s four for 14 in four overs sent Nihal XI crashing to 108 all out in 18 overs. Rishad collected two for 18, while Ankit, Mazhar and Munir picked one scalp each to maintain the pressure on the rivals.
Farhan and Sehran got 32 runs for the first wicket. After the pair was split, no other batsman could stay at the wicket long enough to help the team recover.
When an easy chase was expected for QIECO, Nihal XI hit back hard and made the rivals toil for each run. Sanjay and Entihab, with two wickets each, troubled them the most.
At 100 for nine, Ali and Moin joined hands and defied the opponents to add valuable nine runs, winning the match with two balls to go. Ali hit 16 not out off 16 balls and Moin finished unbeaten on 8. Anil, Firoz and Azad shared three wickets. Srikanth of QIECO was named the Player of the match for his outstanding bowling.
