Doha: PwC Middle East welcomed 326 new graduates in another record year for its annual graduate intake. The boost in its hiring comes as a result of the recently announced PwC global strategy, “The New Equation,” which commits to hiring 500 graduates annually in the Middle East.
Two months into the financial year, this intake represents a substantial contribution to the yearly graduate hiring target for PwC Middle East in the region where over 80% of the total graduates are Arabic speakers and 53% are female.
After participating in a virtual induction attended by the regional PwC leadership, newly hired graduates will join PwC Middle East’s different lines of service such as Consulting, Assurance, Deals, and Tax & Legal services.
Bassam Hajhamad, Country Senior Partner at PwC in Qatar said: “As Qatar accelerates its digital transformation and economic growth driven by its National Vision 2030, we continue to upskill our people to build a community of solvers, with the right skills to deliver solutions that are human-led and tech powered, customised to Qatar needs.”
