Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and the United National Information Centre (UNIC) have agreed to hold joint activities to enrich the global and local culture and activate joint projects.
Katara Director General Dr Khalid Al Sulaiti said Katara had adopted a list of international days of the UN to hold activities. He met UNIC Director for the GCC, Najib Friji, who visited Katara recently and discussed cooperation.
They also agreed to activate the role of UN goodwill ambassadors, host them in Katara activities as guests of honour and hold events to serve their causes.
