Washington: Two people were killed Saturday when a single-engine plane crashed on a roadway in the US small central Illinois community of Hanna City, officials said.
Officials said the plane crashed on Route 116 in Hanna City, about 290 km southwest of Chicago. Two people were killed as a result.
There were no immediate reports of any other injuries, and investigations are still underway to determine the cause of the accident.
On June 23, six people were killed when a helicopter crashed in West Virginia.
