Doha, Qatar: DPS Monarch and Olive International School (OIS) have emerged champions at Scholasys Genos 23 Robotics Championship.

Scholasys, a prominent educational technology provider in the Middle East & India for the past seven years, orchestrated the success of the highly anticipated GENOS’23 interschool robotics competition held at MESIS, Abu Hamour.

More than 90 students from 16 schools participated in the championship conducted in two categories. Through hands-on learning experiences and interactive projects, Scholasys Robotics equips students with essential skills across coding, problem-solving, and teamwork, fostering creativity and innovation.

With a commitment to preparing students for the future, Scholasys Robotics is revolutionizing STEAM education and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

DPS Monarch emerged as the Overall Winner, displaying exceptional talent, innovation, and dedication throughout the competition. In the Senior Category, Olive International School secured the first prize. Later on, DPS Monarch emerged winners in the Junior Category, securing the top position with the efforts of the young talents with immense potential and promise for the future of robotics.

Sachin Dinakar Shankpal, the First Secretary (Education and Culture) at the Embassy of India, graced the award and closing ceremony of GENOS’23 as the Chief Guest.

K Abdul Karim, President of the MES Governing Board, honoured the ceremony as the Guest of Honor. Distinguished delegates, including Dr. John-John Cabibihan, Prof. Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department, Qatar University, Dr. Er. Abdullah Mohsin Al Wahedi, Director of Shared Service at Kahramaa, Dr. Abdel Latif Sellami, Director of Education Research Center at Qatar University, and Dr. Ma’an Nassar Raja AL Ani, Executive Director at LXRYM Opto Technology Inc USA, were also present, sharing their expertise and insights.
