Doha: The Nursery children of DPS – MIS had their first activity for the new academic year 2021 – 22 which was related to the G.K. topic ‘Myself’ recently. ‘I Am Precious’, as the name suggests was to make the children feel elated and special about their identity.
The activity was conducted by the Nursery teachers with the help of a hand – held mirror wherein the children looked into the mirror and said a few sentences about themselves with a positive affirmation saying “I Am Precious” which made them feel special. The activity was a fantastic way to introduce positive words and build a positive selfimage in children and also enhance their speaking skills.
At the end of the activity, the children learnt new affirmative words from their peers which boosted their confidence.
