Disciples of Kalamandalam Seema, Indian Classical dance guru, choreographer and performer based in Qatar, performed at the Al Ghazal Club auditorium recently during “Noopuradhwani 2015”, an event dedicated to Indian Classical, folk and fusion dance forms. A semi classical vocal rendition of Rajesh Master, classical vocalist in Doha was also held as part of the programme. The dance events kickstarted with “Ranga Pooja”, traditional welcome dance by the senior dance students of Seema. The event was compered by Arun Pillai Praveen and Sreedevi Ananthakrishnan, who also recorded the narratives for the dance events. Haridas Nair and Reji Sam were the chief coordinators of the event and Agrico was the main sponsor of the event organised by Media Plus.
