The victory confirms promotion for the side that previously played in the QSL during the 2013-2014 season.
Muaither could be joined by Al Shahaniya or Al Markhiya who will face each other next week in the Qatargas league.
The winner of this game is likely to be promoted to the QSL.
Mubarak Ghanim, head of football at Muaither, congratulated his team on the qualification to QSL from next season.  “This is a big occasion that Muaither have qualified for the second time. The fans will be thrilled whereas the players and officials deserve all the credit for their hard work,” Ghanim said in an interview.
“The team needed to show hard work and they showed 100 percent commitment. The winter break deals that we signed, everything helped us in getting there,” he said.
Muaither has 38 points from 15 games, while second-placed Al Shahaniya have 34 points.
Ghanim said his team will play with same dedication in the last two games of Qatargas League.
“We must maintain our top spot, that was something we aspired to do when we started the season,” Ghanim said.
Al Rayyan who have already clinched the this year’s title also made return to the QSL after a year of absence.
The football giants did so by winning the Qatargas League.
Their feat must give Muaither extra motivation to do well in the next year’s edition of Qatar’s top football league event.
