Los Angeles-based Live Production Agency FiveCurrents has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Doha events production company, Innovations Unlimited ME.

Having successfully produced Olympic Ceremonies from London to Sochi, and continental games ceremonies from Toronto to Baku, FiveCurrents is now bringing these unique international capabilities to Qatar.
On a recent trip to Doha to secure the local partnership, Scott Givens, President and CEO of FiveCurrents, said, “Doha is an exciting and growing market for the global mega-event industry. FiveCurrents’ productions have reached a total of 20 billion people worldwide, achieving numerous industry accolades, including 14 Emmy Awards (and 29 nominations) and 31 Telly Awards.
Local Doha-based events agency Innovations Unlimited ME, established in 2009, has one of the largest on-the-ground project teams in Doha and draws on its international team’s expertise in creative technical production and project management to deliver memorable high-impact events. Owning state-of-the-art technical equipment and structures for full large-scale events, Innovations Unlimited ME delivers a range of high-profile local productions from the recently completed DFI Ajyal Youth Film Festival and Qatar Museums’ Chinese Festival, to worldwide broadcast inauguration ceremonies from the launch of the Al Rayyan Stadium Design for the Supreme Committee of Delivery and Legacy (SC), to the opening of Msheireb Museums.
In addition to large-and small-scale events production across a variety of genres, Innovations Unlimited ME offers creative solutions in city lighting and projections, having been responsible for the full city lighting of Doha’s Corniche for the Asia Football Cup.
