Dr Saif Said Al Sowaidi, VP, Institutional Planning & Development, Qatar University
He is also a Professor of Economics in the College of Business and Economics. He has been working at QU since 1982. Dr Al Sowaidi has a BS in Economics from the University of Oregon (USA); an MA in Economics from Ball State University (USA), and a PhD in Economics from the University of Durham (UK). He is the Vice Chairman of Al Meera. He has published books Introduction to Economics (Arabic) and Money and Banking (Arabic).
