Doha: The Institute of Public Administration at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has concluded the fundamentals of internal auditing programme.
The three weeks programme was organised in cooperation with the Community Service and Continuing Education Center at Qatar University, with the participation of employees in the internal audit departments of 12 government agencies.
The programme aimed to enable participants to apply the basic principles of the internal audit process in government agencies in accordance with the environment, practical experience and relevant legislation in force in Qatar.
The programme contained two parts, the first: the fundamentals of internal auditing, in which all candidates from internal audit departments took part, and the second part involved workers in internal audit departments according to their specialisations and their field of work, whether financial, administrative or information, and each participant attended two programs, the first basic and the second specialised.
These programmes will continue in the 2021 training plan, whereby two programmes are offered in fundamentals of internal auditing, two in management auditing and two in financial auditing.
